HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE GADI PRAVEEN KUMAR

Honourable Sri Justice GADI PRAVEEN KUMAR was born on 28th August to Dr. Gadi Jagan Mohan Rao (who worked as District Education Officer and later retired as Professor in SCERT) and Smt. Gadi Sulochana at Bheemgal of Nizamabad District. He completed his Primary School education at Bheemgal, Nizamabad District, Intermediate from Wesley Junior College, Medak, and completed his Graduation & Post Graduation of Law from Osmania University. He married to Smt.Gadi Aditya Vardhini and blessed with one daughter, Ms. Lahari Sameeraja. Enrolled as an Advocate on 12.11.1998 with the Bar Council of the then Andhra Pradesh, he initially joined the Chambers of Sri Jithender Rao & Sri A. Laxmi Narayana Reddy Advocates at Warangal Trial Courts and later he joined the office of Senior Counsel Sri A.K. Jaya Prakash Rao, Advocate at High Court and gained exposure to various branches of law. He actively practiced in the areas of Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Labour Law, Service Law and Family matters. He served as a Standing Counsel for Enforcement Directorate, Department of India Govt. Mint, Armed Forces Tribunal, Security Printing Press, National Institute of Nutrition and other Central Government Departments covering various branches of Law. Practiced for more than 27 years in various branches of law. He was appointed as Central Government Standing Counsel in the year 2015, served the Department and also served the Department as a Senior Standing Counsel for Central Govt. Later in the Month of October, 2022, he was appointed as Deputy Solicitor General of India, High Court for the State of Telangana and served various Ministries of Central Government till he was elevated as Additional Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana. He has been appointed as an Additional Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana and assumed charge on 31.07.2025.
